Natural Remedies For Cellulite
external remedies that you can rub on, or massage. There are also different kinds of exercises you can do. Professional treatments can be very expensive and can cost thousands of dollars if you go the surgical route. However nature helped your body create cellulite and there are some natural, inexpensive methods you can try to rid yourself of unsightly cellulite.

What is cellulite? One explanation is that it is fat cells that float freely and have become trapped in the lattice connective tissue just below the surface of the skin. It is a problem that is more prevalent in women because their connective tissue is different than men's. 90% of women have admitted to having a problem with cellulite at one time or another. It can definitely  worsen as we age and some women have a genetic tendency towards it.

Cellulite is more prevalent on the thighs and butt, and can sometimes be found on the arms and the abs. Lifestyle can also be a big factor in developing cellulite. Toxic foods that lead to toxic build up in the body can be a major cause. And that is something you can do something about.

If you want to try an external remedy for cellulite you can work with bladderwack seaweed. You can mix 1 teaspoon of bladderwack seaweed with a cup of water and massage it into the areas with cellulite on your body.  This can be done two or three times a week. You can also add bladderwach seaweed to your bath with some bath salts and soak the affected area. Bladderwack is high in iodine. Iodine can help lesson the appearance of cellulite. As a warning though you will have to be careful with the this treatment if you are pregnant or have a thyroid problem or are on certain medication. I would consult your doctor and do more research on it before you try it if that is the case. However if you can use this you may really like the results.

Another natural treatment for cellulite can be exercise. Aerobic exercise is always good. Jumping on a trampoline can also be very effective for cellulite. Jumping helps the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system helps your body release toxins and fat. Jumping on a trampoline can be felt by every cell of your body.  Try jumping for 10- 20 minutes everyday, help your lymphatic system and see the results not only on cellulite but you overall health.

If you want to try a supplement for cellulite, try something that  helps firm up the connective tissue in the skin. This weakness in the tissue is a major cause of cellulite. One herb you can try is Gotu Kola. You can take up to 4,500 mg. per day.

A lot of people want to try massage to get rid of cellulite. One effective form of massage that you can do yourself is a dry brush massage. You start by getting a natural bristle brush from a health good store or a loofah can work also. You dry brush you skin starting from the feet and working towards the shoulders. You should always brush towards your heart and use upward motions. You only need to do this for 5 minutes which can make it an easy method to add to your routine. The dry brushing can stimulate the lymph system and encourage circulation, exfoliate the skin and help to smooth out the cellulite.

These are just a few natural remedies for cellulite. You may also want to work on cleaning up your diet and help your body to get rid of toxins.
